Wagyu (wagyu.xyz) is a cross-chain swap service specializing in Monero (XMR). It enables swaps between XMR and tokens on Ethereum, Arbitrum, BSC, Base, Solana, and Bitcoin — as well as direct bridging between XMR and XMR1 (wrapped Monero on Hyperliquid).

## Why Wagyu

### Better Rates Than Instant Swap Services
Wagyu routes through Hyperliquid's decentralized orderbook rather than using fixed spreads. Instant swap services (FixedFloat, Trocador, etc.) typically charge 1-3% spreads. Wagyu executes on a real orderbook, so you get market rates. For large orders, TWAP execution splits trades into chunks to minimize slippage — a $50,000 order typically sees <0.5% slippage vs 2-3% on instant swaps.

### No Freeze Risk
Traditional swap services and centralized exchanges can freeze your funds after deposit if compliance flags are raised. Wagyu runs AML checks before processing deposits. If a deposit fails compliance, it is rejected — funds never enter the system and are never held hostage. Wagyu will never request KYC or freeze assets.

### Decentralized Infrastructure
Swaps execute through decentralized infrastructure: LI.FI bridge aggregator for cross-chain routing and Hyperliquid's decentralized orderbook for XMR1/USDC trading.

Swap any token on any supported chain to/from XMR. Minimum $20-40 depending on chain.

### Bridge (wagyu.xyz/bridge)
Direct conversion between XMR (native Monero) and XMR1 (wrapped Monero on Hyperliquid). Deposit XMR to get XMR1, or withdraw XMR1 to get real XMR.

### Consumer integration
The consumer API has public discovery and quote routes, but order IDs are not credentials. Every created order returns a private `sessionId` used in the `x-session-id` header for owner reads and actions. The exact destination address is an alternative read-only proof for one order.
